Heirloom Music Jewelry Boxes by Rolland Mast

     These two boxes were submitted to us by Rolland Mast and utilize our JB-423 box feet and SR-638 side rail hinges. He used a variety of wood species and burls that help make each box unique. His interest in woodworking started when he went to work with his father. Rolland is a retired designer, home builder, and developer. For many years of his career, he worked as a cabinet maker. Rolland started out building boxes for his family, then to special friends and charity auctions. 

Humidor Box from Don Hofer

     This photo was submitted by Don Hofer and features our JB-107 butt hinge. This box features a mesquite exterior. Don has been a hobbyist woodworker for 10 years. During his free time in the winter, he works as a winemaker. Don makes jewelry and humidor boxes as presents for family and business associates.

He started building boxes last spring. James uses them as donations for auctions, gifts for family and friends, and a few for himself.
