The MC-432S stainless steel decorative knob, with a flattened dome face ringed by a band-shaped edge, is pressure-fit and glued into place. Stainless steel gives the knob a modern look and does not tarnish, making it suitable for kitchen, bathroom, and marine applications. It measures 1/2" in diameter and projects 9/16". The mounting dowel is 5/16" in diameter.
