Perfect, no slop or play in the hinge action.

This hinge is well made, sturdy and attractive. While expensive compared to many the value added to small works that are well crafted is worth it. I would love at least one more steel pilot screw included since losing the one is very easy.

I received a pair of stop hinges for Christmas. What I like best is that the thickness of the hinge and countersunk holes allow for perfectly drilled holes. My box lids line up on all four sides just perfectly. I am hooked!

I used these hinges to make a small box to hold a lie nielsen beading tool. They were definitely more perfect than my building skills and they turned out flawless. Its great to have a company that really cares about the fit and finish of their product. You won't be sorry.
