Perfect for my use,
purchased Jigs to go along with hinges and the hinges fit perfectly, now if I could just route square corners

I've used these many times on the small boxes I make, they're the best I've found. Substantial and no slop.

I purchased two sets of 103's for keepsake boxes I am making for my grandchildren. I compared the Brusso with other hinges at Woodcraft and Rockler. There is simply no comparison, these are the best hinges on the market.
The installation instructions are not that good. For the price you pay for the hinges there should be better instructions; with and without the templates. I did a test piece with a handmade jig dowloaded from Fine Woodworking. i could not get a perfect cut. i purchased the templates and the installation was precise. You have to be careful even with the templates, they have to be perfectly aligned before routing. I also had to trim down the bushing to match the template. Brusso should offer a bushing that will work with their templates.
All in all....I would purchase any product from Brusso, along wth the templates to make the installation perfect.
Great little hinges

These hinges are perfect for small boxes. I have used cheaper hinges in the past, and they have caused me a lot of trouble. These precision made hinges are worth every penny. Some reviews have complained about the screws, but I had no trouble with them. I just drilled the correct size holes.

as an amateur wood crafter, getting advice about your products from a pro. proved to be right-on. I will continue to use Brusso, the best hard ware on the market. I will replace the screws with square drive in the future.

The hinges are excellent quality. I usually replace the screws with square drive after pre-drilling , etc. Your web site installation instructions could use some review. You might look at the ones on Lee Valley for installing knife hinges. A picture is worth a lot of words. I always mortise slightly deeper than the thickness of the leaf. If not, you'll have a small gap between the box lid and the case. This is an example of info not included in yur instructions.
