  2. Hinge Options

I use this product when I want a hinge that permits movement past the 95 degree “stop” hinge range. Excellent quality, strong and durable finish like all other Brusso products. The jigs that aid in mortising for the often used JB-102 are the same for the CB-302 and thats a plus. I invest much time, effort and top quality materials in building the pieces that I make and sell. Using the best quality hardware is simply a part of that recipe and Brusso produces the top quality hardware I want for my work.

  3. CB - 302 brass hinges

These hinges are the best quality hinges that I have ever used in my 25years of boxmaking - easy to fit and with no racking movement- others don’t come close.

  6. Quality Costs you

Posted by Johny Sawdust on Aug 26th 2019

Yes these are expensive but if you have ever used them you will love the quality and uniformity of the product. Your best work deserves the best hardware and the best hardware costs more than a buck ninety nine...

I am so very pleased with the quality of the hinges. They compliment my project perfectly.

  8. CB 302 Review

Quality hardware but is difficult with hard woods such as Bubinga (Junks hardness of 2410). The steel screw may become broken in the wood if not careful. I am thankful that Brusso sent me replacement screws.

  9. Ouch - Thank You

Posted by John Giese on Oct 6th 2016

Yes this stuff is amazingly expensive so lets get that out of the way first.

You get over the price eventually but I am not getting over how glad I am I bought this stuff as the quality level is off the charts relative to pretty much every other hinge you will buy.

There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you swing a door on a high quality hinge. It is the difference between a box that is beautiful but seems cheesy for some reason and a box that is beautiful and clearly made by a master craftsman.

You may not think these are worth the money but you will absolutely not be disappointed in how they work. I will be buying this stuff for a long time to come...

  10. Quality!

Great product. Brusso delivers on their promise of providing the best quality hinges. They're worth the money.

  11. Exactly as Promised

Posted by Stephen J Marchesani on Mar 19th 2016

This hinge justifies the expense from the moment you open it. Exceptionally crafted and exact. I used it on a Shaker lap desk for my son and it is the only metal on the whole project. It is a perfect accent and the look is only superceded by its functionality. I would only use it in key projects because of the cost, but for special projects it us worth every penny.

  12. Quality is Obvious

Posted by Frank on Jan 21st 2016

If you're new to Brusso, and especially if you've been buying hinges from one of the large stores, you may not understand why little hinges like these cost extra. It's quite simple: quality, precision and robustness. These tough little hinges are the only thing I will ever use on my projects, they actually add value to the project.
