Case and Box from Peter B.
"I am an amateur woodworker, and a recovering lawyer, having recently shifted from trying cases to making them.
The first set of photos is of a case made to house my wife’s silver. It is 18.75” by 15.125”, and is made of African Padauk, with a top veneered in book-matched maple burl, with ebony inlay. I utilized your JB-107 hinges and a pair of JB-828 latches.
The second set or photos is of a jewelry box. On our 20th anniversary my wife and I were in Hawaii and found a shop that sells Koa. I bought some curly Koa and ten years later, coming up on our 30th anniversary, finally got around to using it. It is stunning! This box is 13.25” by 11.125”, and utilizes your JB-107 hinges.
Your hardware is so well-constructed and makes such an impression that one would be hard pressed not to use it. Even better, the templates used for installation make the job easy and ever so consistent. I suggest using two templates at a time for more foolproof installation."
